主講簡(jiǎn)介:Dr. LI Hua (李華) is a full professor at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He was selected as a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in 2019. Dr. Li has been honored with numerous awards, including the Singapore HPC Silver Award in 2003, the top project at the SMI Forum in 2015, and the Scientist Award at the 9th ICCM in 2018. He is also extensively funded by agencies, such as NRF, EDB, SMI and MPA, including the principal investigator of a computational BioMEMS project awarded under A*STAR's strategic research programme in MEMS, and by industries, including SUN Microsystems (Oracle), Sony, Philips, Lloyd's Register, Emerson, ABB, Makino, Rolls-Royce, DSO and JTC. He has sole-authored a monograph book entitled "Smart Hydrogel Modelling" published by Springer, co-authored three monograph books entitled "Reduced Modelling of Planar Fuel Cells - Spatial Smoothing and Asymptotic Reduction" by Springer, "Meshless Methods and Their Numerical Properties" by CRC Press and "Rotating Shell Dynamics" by Elsevier, and 2 book chapters, one on MEMS simulation and the other on hydrogel drug delivery system modelling, and sole-authored/co-authored over 200 articles published in peer-reviewed international journals. In particular, he has so far worked on the theoretical modeling of hydrogel for +20 years, with more than 80 peer-reviewed journal papers relevant to the theoretical hydrogel modeling area.研究專(zhuān)長(zhǎng):柔性生物機(jī)器人。
主講內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介:智能生物材料的一個(gè)顯著特征是它們能夠響應(yīng)某些外部生物刺激而變形。本文提出了一種新的生化-電-機(jī)械模型,通過(guò)固定脲酶的電離和變性狀態(tài),對(duì)脲敏感水凝膠在尿素外部刺激下的反應(yīng)進(jìn)行理論表征,其中模型包括固定電荷基團(tuán)和溫度以及pH對(duì)脲酶活性的影響。提出了一種新的反應(yīng)速率來(lái)表征尿素的水解,該反應(yīng)速率可以解釋脲酶在環(huán)境條件下的電離和變性狀態(tài)。通過(guò)與已發(fā)表的實(shí)驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)的檢驗(yàn),證實(shí)該模型可以很好地表征脲敏感水凝膠在尿素刺激下的響應(yīng)行為,包括水凝膠內(nèi)電位和pH的分布模式。研究結(jié)果表明,當(dāng)水凝膠與富含尿素的溶液(如人類(lèi)尿液)接觸時(shí),可以通過(guò)酶誘導(dǎo)的pH值和電位梯度產(chǎn)生電能。
